I’m the founder of Outrider Bookkeeping Solutions, and I’m here to make life a lot easier for solopreneurs and small business owners.

When I started my UX and AI business over a decade ago, my finances gave me the jitters until a mentor helped me demystify the process. That experience taught me two things: First, bookkeeping is really about using data to make smarter decisions. Second, digging into those details takes time and focus. And you already have your work cut out for you.

Why do I need bookkeeping?

Ever wonder which of your services is actually making you the most money, or if you can truly afford that new equipment? Bookkeeping answers those questions. By keeping a close eye on your revenue and expenses, you take the stress out of managing your money. It gives you the "green light" to invest in your growth or the "red light" to trim costs, keeping you in total control of your business.

What do you need from me to do my bookkeeping?

We ask for accountant read-only access to your bank accounts, credit card and payment processors such as PayPal. We will help you set this up.

How much does it cost?

Our monthly bookkeeping services start at $350. Because every business has a different level of complexity, we’ll give you a custom quote after our initial chat. Our goal is to provide a flat monthly fee so you always know exactly what to budget for.

What exactly do you do, and what’s my role?

Think of us as your financial "engine room." We link your bank and credit card feeds to categorize every transaction so your books stay current. We don't need a receipt for every single coffee or office supply, but if we’re ever unsure about an entry, we’ll reach out. To respect your schedule, we batch these questions together so you aren't getting pinged all day.

While we don’t file taxes ourselves, we’re happy to refer you to a great CPA if you need one. We’ll work closely with them to make sure your tax season is a total breeze.

Each month, you’ll receive your financial reports along with an optional video walkthrough where we translate the "accounting-speak" into clear, actionable insights for your growth.

What bookkeeping software do you use?

We are well versed in Xero, Digits and Quickbooks Online, but we believe software should be a tool, not a hurdle. If you’re already using something else, we'll help you figure out what's best for your business.
